The design inspiration for the Koffing Incense Burner comes from Pokémon. In the anime, Koffing is a Poison – type Pokémon. It is entirely purple, with a body as thin as a balloon. The protrusions on its body emit toxic gas, and this image is reminiscent of an incense burner, so Koffing became an excellent creative medium.
The designer showed great ingenuity. By skillfully leveraging the appearance characteristics of Koffing, the protrusion on its top was carefully transformed into a smoke outlet, and the depression at the bottom was ingeniously designed as an incense tray.
In terms of material and craftsmanship, underglaze color ceramics were selected, which are not only dirt – resistant but also wear – resistant. In terms of color, the traditional Chinese blue – and – white porcelain technique was adopted. After firing at a high temperature of 1300 °C, the porcelain has a transparent texture and great collection value. In addition, cone incense is thoughtfully presented for matching use.
